Amber Kenwright

Secretary

Amber joined the Committee in early 2022 and currently serves as the Library’s Secretary, after spending the past two years as part of the Membership Team. She works full-time in administration within the public sector and is also a busy mum to Lincoln (6) and Maisie (4). Amber and her little ones love exploring the Toy Library’s outdoor range — favourites include the Sand Mining Set and Foam Play Kits — as well as the ever-popular Fat Brain Toys like the Air Toobz. Passionate about community connection, Amber joined the Committee to give back through volunteering and to meet other local mums. She values how the Toy Library has helped her find a sense of belonging and takes pride in supporting such a valuable resource for young families in Geraldton.

Zoe Ansingh

Membership Team

Zoe joined the Geraldton Toy Library in 2021 and became a committee member in 2024, bringing her thoughtfulness and love of play to the team. She works part-time and is a proud mum to Byron and Lily, who are regular toy testers!

Zoe’s favourite things include beach walks, audio books, and cooking up delicious meals. Their family faves at the library the many Duplo sets, puzzles and anything with wheels—cars and trucks especially.

Whether she’s helping out behind the scenes or chatting with families at the Toy Library, Zoe brings a calm, friendly presence and a genuine passion for creating joyful, inclusive spaces for children to explore and grow.

Tara Moody

Membership Team

Tara joined the toy library in 2023. She is a seasoned early childhood teacher. Tara has lived in the Geraldton area most of her life. She is mum to William (2) and Wesley (1). In her spare time, Tara loves reading and going to Bunnings with her family. She is really passionate about the toy library because it gives kids access to developmentally appropriate toys that are often out of a family’s budget or storage capacity.

Georgia McDonald

Promotions

Georgia joined the Toy Library in early 2023 after moving to Geraldton from Meekatharra. She is all about Promotions and the social media presence of GTL. Georgia is an Early Childhood teacher and mum to an energetic Callum (4.5 years) and sassy Freya (2.5 years). In her spare time Georgia loves to cook, spend time at the beach, organise the playroom and rotate the toys or be outside with her family! She likes to follow the kids leads with their interests which for Callum is always construction and destruction; he and his dad are big fans of the Kick Bricks [H332]! Freya has just taken an interest in puzzles so she loves to choose from this very organised selection at the Toy Library.

Monique Kalinowski

Toy Maintenance

Monique has recently joined our Toy Library committee. She has joined the Maintenance Team and hopes to assist in keeping our resources in good repair.

After working many years in a busy management role she is currently enjoying the slower pace of motherhood to a beautiful little 20 month old girl, Amara.

A love of the outdoors will often find her family out on the ocean or camping by the fire.

As an early childcare educator it's hard to choose a favourite toy, but she tend to follow Amara’s lead with Montessori values from week to week, this week's beings rocks.

Monique is feeling very grateful to become a part of a community spirited club.

Renee Morgan

Toy Maintenance & Grant Writer

Renee became part of the Geraldton Toy Library community in 2022. Her regular volunteer membership soon grew into a Shift Leader role and in 2024, her passion for organisation lead her to join the volunteer Maintenance Team. Renee & her son (5) have been borrowing for nearly 3 years and Renee has said she still find toys they haven’t seen before! Her family favourit’s are the games, marble-runs & outdoor gross motor toys. Renee looks forward to continuing her volunteer duties and exploring the ever-growing learning resources available. She looks forward to meeting you at your next visit to the library.
